Duties in this role include answering phone calls, receiving and distributing incoming mail, processing customer requests such as policy changes, billing inquiries, and payments, and much more. Qualified candidates will have their Property and Casualty license, be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be motivated and detail oriented.

This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule. Parking will be provided. Apply today to be immediately considered.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls, take/relay accurate messages, transfer calls.
  • Receive and distribute all incoming mail.
  • Review and update client's insurance policies on a regular basis.
  • Develop risk management policies for various clients.
  • Guarantee insurance certificates are compliant with applicable statutes and regulations.
  • File official insurance-related documents such as claims and any other insurance documents to the insurance director.
  • Build personal relationships with customers and anticipate their insurance needs.
  • Handle and process customer requests such as policy changes, billing inquiries, and payments.
  • Identify sales opportunities and forward any leads to sales team.
  • Perform other general office duties such as printing, filing, maintaining supplies, etc.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Property and Casualty license required.
  • Bilingual speaker of Filipino and English languages a plus.
  • Previous experience and/or background in the insurance industry a plus.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented, proactive in problem solving, and self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain and hold sensitive and confidential data.
