Tablet Press Operator

A local company that specializes in creating nutritional supplements has a full-time opening for a Tablet Press Operator. In this position, you will be responsible for setting-up and operating the tablet press, monitoring the working machinery and preparing powder blends for the tablets.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of related work experience and be available to work different days of the week including weekends.

Pay

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

• Operate tablet press machinery.
• Load and unload tablet press machine.
• Inspect machinery to ensure it is in good working order.
• Weigh raw materials and finished product.
• Disassemble press and tools for cleaning.
• Prepare powder blends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience required.
• Previous experience in a production facility is preferred. 
• Must be flexible and be able to work weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license to be certified for forklift operation.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and state and federal background check.
