A local family-owned meatpacking company in Hilo is looking for a Meat Processing Worker to assist with cutting meat into standard cuts in preparation for packaging.

The ideal candidate will have previous meat processing and/or hunting experience.

Full-time, Schedule varies between 5:00am-6:00pm

Pay

$17 an hour

Responsibilities

Slaughter animals in accordance with company standards.
Trim, clean, and cure meat.
Ensure meat preparation meets all required sanitation laws.
Follow all equipment and clothing safety measures.
Tend assembly lines and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Must have meat processing and/or hunting experience.
Ability to follow directions well.
