Interior Designer

Our client is seeking an Interior Designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects. In this role, you will work with customers and provide design services based upon their needs. Throughout the entire design project, you will provide updates and make any revisions as needed.

The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree in design and be proficient with AutoCAD, Photoshop and Revit.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$40,000 to $60,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to program the project requirements.
• Develop design concepts and produce contract documents based on client needs.
• Create design concepts and digital presentations with finish selections, furnishings, and fixtures.
• Present design concepts and take detailed notes to address customer requests.
• Create project budgets and maintain up-to-date documentation of all activities.
• Take accurate measurements for developing floor plans and elevations.
• Manage the coordination and logistics of product deliveries and installation.
• Provide follow-up support with customers.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Revit.
• Knowledge of industry construction costs and material costs.
• Ability to prepare furniture cost estimates.
• Creative eye for detail in preparation of design presentation materials.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
