A local utility company is looking for an experienced individual to assist their billing department on a contractual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for all billing duties and assisting customers with any billing-related questions.
The contract will go for approximately 6-12 months with the possibility of extension.
The ideal candidate will have previous billing and/or accounting experience.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pmLocation

$21 an hourResponsibilities
- Review and analyze customer billing.
- Resolve billing exceptions in a timely manner.
- Retrieve and provide billing information to others.
- Contact customers regarding unusual or abnormal billing adjustments.
- Initiate refunds for customers.
- Process complex billing for large commercial accounts.
- Prepare statistical reports as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous billing/accounting experience required.
- Previous SAP software experience preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Experience with data analysis and project operations.
