Rebuilding UH Lab School
Giving back to the community is a cornerstone upon which ALTRES was built.
On Tuesday, June 13, 2006, the University of Hawaii's Laboratory School suffered a catastrophic loss. A major fire completely destroyed the UH Lab Elementary School Building, which housed the school's lab, orchestra and athletic offices. Due to these terrible circumstances, we felt an immediate need to assist in the rebuilding process.
As part of our ongoing Community Connection Project, ALTRES annually makes donations to numerous local schools. We do so on behalf of our customers, employees, and owners. They collectively feel the money normally spent on holiday expressions of customer appreciation are better spent enriching the community in which we all live.
This year we have chosen the UH Laboratory School Fire Recovery Fund as the early recipient of our holiday donation. Attached you will find a copy of the letter presented to the University of Hawaii Foundation. Click here to view UH Donation Letter.
We hope this contribution will help ease the burden of an already difficult situation. We are pleased and proud to continue our tradition of giving to the community in honor of our clients and the entire ALTRES Ohana.
Together we do make a difference.
