Screening
Every applicant completes a full employment application. Skills competency testing is then administered specific to their professional license to determine adequate technical knowledge, qualifications and proficiency. Additional information is assessed to determine “success” traits as they relate to the healthcare industry and an in-depth interview is conducted.
Additional screening checks include license verification, felony conviction, Federal Excluded Party/Debarment Database check and verification of previous employment references as part of our strict hiring criteria. Upon hire, each new employee is then given a complete orientation to ALTRES Medical and its client facilities.
Training
ALTRES Medical supports and encourages our employees to pursue new training and professional growth by providing tuition assistance of up to $500 per calendar year.
Additional training is conducted in our classroom at The ALTRES Building on a variety of healthcare topics throughout the year including:
Blood borne Pathogens
Age Specific Competencies
ACLS and BLS
Automatic External Defibrillator (AEDs) |
