A local preschool is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to join their team and answer phone calls, greet visitors, and organize files. This is a temporary position that will start on May 13th and go through August 31st with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to start ASAP and commit through August.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and relay messages.
  • Greet visitors as they walk in.
  • Enter daily attendance and meal tracking for USDA reports.
  • Organize paper and electronic files.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to start ASAP and commit through August.
  • TB clearance required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required by client for this position. This is not an ALTRES Staffing requirement.
