A local engineering company is looking for an Office Admin Assistant to join their team and assist their busy office with day-to-day administrative duties. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling meetings, handling mail duties, and maintaining office supplies.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have strong communication skills.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay

$22 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and relay messages.
  • Greet clients as they walk in and assist them as needed.
  • Schedule meetings.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail. 
  • Maintain and order office supplies.
  • Print, copy, file, and scan documents.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Assist with project work and proposals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Motivated, dependable, hardworking.
