Placement Manager (Kona or Hilo)

A local, Kamaaina Company currently has 2 exciting positions open for a Placement Manager. You can chose from our Kona or Hilo locations. You will be responsible for matching jobseekers with the job openings of your clients and will accomplish this by successfully identifying active and passive job seekers using sourcing tools, internet research and other creative methods, while simultaneously building strong relationships and trust between you and your clients.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay

$55,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Create and post job ads via ATS.
• Source, screen and interview candidates.
• Assess candidates’ relevant skills, experience, and aptitudes. Take time to understand their needs, ask questions for clarification and be respectful of other people’s communication.
• Maintain accurate candidate notes as they move through the hiring process.
• Talk to existing clients to receive job orders, review qualification criteria and salary and benefit information.
• Talk to prospective clients to explain our services, fees and recruiting process and ensure receipt of signed client agreements.
• Determine candidate match for jobs based on resume, skill assessments and interview notes. Present job opportunity to candidate and upon agreement, present candidates to clients for consideration.
• Coordinate interviews between candidate and clients and conduct timely follow up to negotiate potential job offers.
• Attend job fairs, chamber functions, and other events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED).
• Prior experience in recruitment and interviewing candidates.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive and cooperate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
