A local company is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their team as an Administrative & Accounting Clerk. This position plays a pivotal role in providing administrative support and assisting with accounting tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmLocation

$24 an hourResponsibilities
- Answer approximately 100 phone calls per day in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist the accountant in handling accounts payables and receivables.
- Code general ledgers accurately to ensure proper financial record-keeping.
- Reconcile and balance credit card statements on a regular basis.
- Utilize platforms such as Stripe and Square for payment processing.
- Handle reconciliation postings to maintain accurate financial data.
- Digitize and organize files to maintain an efficient filing system.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.
- Knowledgeable in accounts payables and receivables processes.
- Previous experience in reconciliation tasks is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and vendors.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls, approximately 100 per day.
