A local company is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their team as an Administrative & Accounting Clerk. This position plays a pivotal role in providing administrative support and assisting with accounting tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$24 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer approximately 100 phone calls per day in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist the accountant in handling accounts payables and receivables.
  • Code general ledgers accurately to ensure proper financial record-keeping.
  • Reconcile and balance credit card statements on a regular basis.
  • Utilize platforms such as Stripe and Square for payment processing.
  • Handle reconciliation postings to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Digitize and organize files to maintain an efficient filing system.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.
  • Knowledgeable in accounts payables and receivables processes.
  • Previous experience in reconciliation tasks is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and vendors.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls, approximately 100 per day.
