Our client is seeking a marketing professional to join their team as a Marketing and Social Media Assistant. In this role, you will promote the company's products and services to existing prospective customers through strategic use of social media, multi-media platforms, logos, and other promotional products. 

The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree and previous social media/marketing experience.

Full-time, 8:00am-5:00pm (some evenings and weekends)

Pay

$42,000 to $60,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company's interactions with the public through social media platforms (including FB, IG, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Analyze engagement data and identify trends to build an online community.
  • Create and coordinate multimedia packages.
  • Schedule and develop film scripts and production.
  • Evaluate success of campaigns when completed.
  • Collaborate with sales or marketing representatives to understand product and communication needs.
  • Present ideas and recommendations to marketing manager, committee, or sales team.
  • Assist with other areas of marketing such as print, radio, tv, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, advertising, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience writing and editing projects preferred.
  • Experience with short-form video, social media marketing concepts and content creation.
  • Experience with CMS platforms including WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Webflow, etc.
  • Experience managing social media campaigns such as campaign conceptualization, audience targeting and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
