Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and tax compliance
• Implement effective financial controls and processes
• Provide strategic insights and financial planning support to drive company growth
• Utilize strong leadership skills to mentor and develop staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial goals
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, financial reporting, and tax requirements
• Manage cost accounting, job costing, and construction project financial management
• Analyze financial data, problem-solve, and make strategic decisions
• Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high ethical standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification required, advanced degree preferred
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems, preferably Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance
• Experience with cost accounting, job costing, and construction project financial management
