Accounting Administrative Assistant

A well-known school is looking for an accounting professional to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the processing of accounts receivables & payables, reception & health room support, and provides support for School Administrative Services.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in business management or accounts/payable processing or a minimum of 2 years related experience.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm

Location

Makiki, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$22 to $23 an hour

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, emails, and greet visitors.
• Manage accounts payable and receivables.
• Coordinate transportation for student learning trips.
• Support the school lunch program.
• Assist with registration services, payments, and refunds for Auxiliary Programs.
• Administer first aid and provide backup coverage for the health office.
• Provide administrative support for the Business Office.
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in business management or accounts/payable processing OR Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Certification in Infant, Child, and Adult CPR and First Aid required (provided by employer).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work with children who are ill or injured and respond effectively in an emergency situation.
