HR Admin & Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking a dedicated HR Admin and Payroll Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll and providing human resource administration for employees.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in HR administration and/or payroll processing.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$55,000 to $65,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Approve timecards.
• Submit payroll hours to payroll provider.
• Maintain payroll records.
• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
• Maintain employee record in HR Portal.
• Onboard and offboard new hires and departing employees. 
• Manage employee benefits such as medical, vacation, and sick leave.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
• Assist with audits related to payroll and HR functions.
• Assist with processing TDI and workers comp claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR administration and/or payroll processing.
• Microsoft Dynamics DL and BambooHR software experience preferred (will train if not).
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
