Foreign Exchange Teller

A business is seeking a detail-oriented Foreign Exchange Teller to join their team in Aiea, Hawaii. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service while handling foreign currency transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and a keen eye for detail. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in Aiea, with parking provided. While banking experience is not required, a strong background in customer service is essential.

Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to Money Laundering and Compliance regulations, providing detailed information for large transactions as required in CEIFX.
• Accurately exchange foreign currency through purchases and sales using CEIFX system.
• Maintain precise records of all transactions, charges, and inventory levels for accounting purposes.
• Model strict adherence to company's Retail Security Policies at all times.
• Obtain necessary approvals for transactions at or above 5k USD threshold, OFAC matches, or bank rate matches.
• Report any overages/shortages promptly to Branch Manager, Regional Manager or AVP.
• Deliver highly personal service to all customers, whether in-branch, over the phone, or on property premises.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, subject to regular Secret Shop evaluations.
• Develop and maintain a well-informed understanding of all products and attraction tickets sold at the branch, where applicable.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
