Deconstruction Crew Member

We are seeking FOUR hardworking and reliable individuals to join our client's deconstruction project in Waikoloa. This is a 6-8 week assignment in the Waikoloa area for only 3 days a week. As a Deconstruction Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in our environmentally conscious approach to building removal and material salvage. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to sustainable practices in the construction industry while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Hours

Part-time, Monday-Wednesday 7:00am-4:00pm

Location

Waikoloa, Big Island

Pay

$25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks on deconstruction sites
• Load and unload materials, furniture, and household items
• Safely move and transport items from work sites
• Deconstruct building materials for salvage, ensuring maximum reuse potential
• Operate hand and power tools in accordance with safety guidelines
• Assist in sorting and organizing salvaged materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous general labor experience required
• Knowledge of construction practices and materials preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 75lbs regularly
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
