Accountant and Teller

A local company is seeking an Accountant and Teller to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of all accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary position with the intention to become permanent.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm

Location

Sand Island, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$65,000 to $70,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and maintain financial records and reports.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely completion of all financial accounting tasks.
• Perform duties in accordance with internal controls, laws, and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet financial objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting practices and financial accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment, working independently or in a team.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
