Benefits Generalist

A well known Kama'aina company, is seeking a full-time Benefits Generalist to join their growing team. We are looking for a motivated, sharp, and critical thinking individual to assist in the administration of various employee benefit plans such as health plan administration and eligibility, COBRA administration and compliance, and general familiarity of Section 125 and Section 132 plans, life insurance, and open enrollment.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am- 5pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$23 to $25 an hour, Salary DOE

Responsibilities

• Enroll, cancel, and change health plan memberships.
• Monitor and track monthly health plan eligibility.
• COBRA administration including issuing election forms and processing elections and payments.
• Handle client and employee inquires regarding all aspects of employee benefits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Enjoys working in a team environment and supporting others.
