- Partner with business leaders to provide strategic and practical HR guidance.
- Advise clients on employee relations issues, performance management, workplace policies, and employment law compliance.
- Conduct workplace investigations and assist with conflict resolution.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and job descriptions.
- Facilitate employee, supervisor, and management training on topics such as hiring, interviewing, communication, performance management, and harassment prevention.
- Lead new client onboarding and orientation meetings to establish strong working relationships.
- Support employee onboarding and new hire orientation programs.
- Assist clients with FLSA classifications and HR compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service and HR solutions.
- Travel to client locations throughout Hawaii, including neighbor islands, as needed.
- Contribute to special projects and other HR initiatives that support organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Experience handling employee relations, workplace investigations, or compliance matters is highly desirable.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
