Join our client as a Compliance Specialist, where you'll support and help maintain a local Credit Union’s Compliance Program under the guidance of the Compliance Officer. This role is essential to ensuring the Credit Union meets regulatory requirements and uphold operational excellence.

Full-time, Monday to Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm | Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm

Pay

$41,000 to $65,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to Verafin alerts; escalate cases as needed
  • Prepare and submit Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs)
  • Review and follow up on daily and weekly BSA reports
  • Conduct regular audits and report monitoring
  • Support compliance exams and policy implementations
  • Collaborate with internal teams on compliance training and documentation
  • Assist in ensuring compliance across forms, products, website, and promotions

Qualifications

  • 2+ years related experience or Business/College degree with 1+ year of experience
  • Familiar with credit union regulations and BSA/AML laws
  • Actively pursuing CUCE certification and/or BSA/AML certification
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer systems
  • Ability to comply with a pre-employment drug test, State and Federal background check
