Deconstruction Crew Member

We are seeking multiple hardworking and reliable individuals to join our client's deconstruction project in Waikoloa. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary assignment in the Waikoloa area offering a 4-day-a-week schedule. As a Deconstruction Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in our environmentally conscious approach to building removal and material salvage. Hours

Full-time, Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm, hours may vary based on project need

Location

Waikoloa, Big Island

Pay

$25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks on deconstruction sites
• Load and unload materials, furniture, and household items
• Safely move and transport items from work sites
• Deconstruct building materials for salvage, ensuring maximum reuse potential
• Operate hand and power tools in accordance with safety guidelines
• Assist in sorting and organizing salvaged materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous general labor experience required
• Knowledge of construction practices and materials preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 75lbs regularly
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
