Supervisor

The Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the safe, timely, and reliable delivery of products to customers. This position oversees daily operations of truck drivers, enforces compliance with all safety and transportation regulations, and ensures high performance, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Pay

$100,000 to $134,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and evaluate delivery drivers; conduct performance reviews and corrective action plans.
• Lead by example, promoting IES values and a strong safety-first culture.
• Promote professional development through ongoing training and mentorship.
• Ensure all drivers follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards.
• Conduct incident investigations and develop corrective action plans.
• Perform routine safety audits, ride-alongs, and annual evaluations.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all units are safe and certified for service.
• Manage driver schedules and delivery dispatch; act as backup dispatcher when needed.
• Maintain accurate records including DQFs, training logs, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor timesheets, payroll, and approve driver hours via Dayforce.
• Assist in budget planning and cost control for driver operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of delivery experience with a valid Class A CDL would be preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or training role.
• Clean driving record for at least 5 years.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
