A local family-owned meat packing company in Hilo is looking for a Meat Processing Worker to assist with cutting meat into standard cuts in preparation for packaging.

The ideal candidate will have previous meat processing and/or hunting experience.

Hours

Part-time, Monday to Friday; flexible shifts starting as early as 530am

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$17 an hour

Responsibilities

Slaughter animals in accordance with company standards.
Trim, clean, and cure meat.
Ensure meat preparation meets all required sanitation laws.
Follow all equipment and clothing safety measures.
Tend assembly lines and perform other duties as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must have meat processing and/or hunting experience.
Ability to follow directions well.
Ability to lift 50-100lbs.
Must be able to work on a team in a fast-paced work environment.
