Small to mid size company is seeking an IT Director. The IT Director is responsible for setting the organization’s technology vision and leading the planning, implementation, and management of information systems to support business goals. This role oversees IT strategy, infrastructure, security, operations, and staff, ensuring technology investments align with organizational objectives.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

$70,000 to $80,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage IT teams, including hiring, performance management, and professional development.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Manage cybersecurity strategy, risk assessments, incident response, and compliance requirements.
  • Direct IT budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management; negotiate contracts and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology opportunities that improve efficiency and innovation.
  • Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and enterprise-level projects from planning through execution.
  • Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies are in place.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance organizational performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership or management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, government).
