Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity analyst for a 4- 8 month contract, with possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to keep the organization’s systems, data, and networks safe from hackers, breaches, and other digital threats.
Although this position is mostly remote, ONLY candidates currently living in Oahu will be considered, as there may be some days that you are required to come in to the office.

$50,000 to $70,000 a yearResponsibilities
- Watch security tools and alerts to spot suspicious activity, malware, or unauthorized access.
- Analyze reported activities or threats, respond to incidents, contain potential damage, and help prevent future occurrences.
- Help configure firewalls, antivirus software, encryption, and other security controls.
- Assess risks and vulnerabilities.
- Run scans and tests to find weak spots in systems before attackers do.
- Create and enforce security policies.
- Help set rules for passwords, access controls, data handling, and acceptable use.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 -7 years previous employment experience directly related to Cyber.
- Certifications like Security+, CISSP, preferred but not required.
