A local company is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support a busy accounting department. This role will help maintain AP workflow, ensure timely processing of payments, and provide general accounting support. An ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident handling high-volume AP tasks.

Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Kahala, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$22 to $26 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with payment preparation, coding, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain organized AP records and transaction documentation.
  • Supports the Controller and accounting team with daily duties.
  • Assist with overflow tasks to help the department stay on track during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in accounting or 1-3+ years of AP experience required.
  • Experience in real estate or brokerage firm is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with BrokerWolf/Lone Wolf software is ideal but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
