We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to join our client's dynamic team in the Science & Research industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive HR initiatives, support organizational growth, and foster a positive workplace culture as the deputy to the Chief HR Officer.

- Provide strategic HR leadership and management, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Develop strong partnerships with business leaders, offering guidance on HR matters and supporting decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while managing risk.
- Foster positive employee relations and contribute to the development of a thriving organizational culture.
- Oversee HR operations and policy development to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead talent development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
- Serve as Acting HR Leader in the absence of the Chief HR Officer.
- Participate in various committees, including HR-related and cross-functional teams, to provide strategic HR insights.
- Assist with special projects, including cross-departmental initiatives and organizational change efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a technical field from an accredited four-year college or university (equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience will also be considered).
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience across compensation, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.
- Certification in Human Resources: SPHR/PHR, SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP, or GPHR.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic HR leadership and partner effectively with senior management.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent strategic thinking and emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in change management and cultural competency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
