$60,000 to $65,000 a yearResponsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist with data and reports set-up in all I.T. application systems.
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.).
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular system updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
- Train staff on the use of hardware, software, and IT systems.
- Document support processes and maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions.
- Report to the immediate supervisor or manager any I.T. hardware, software, or training needs that fall outside the scope of this job description.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication ability.
- Proven experience as an IT Technical Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- The ability to strategize key update and maintenance timeframes with minimal impact on operations.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Willing to learn and apply new skills.
- Able to work well with others and help when needed and able.
