Our client is seeking a detail-oriented candidate that loves crunching numbers to join their team in Honolulu. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary position with the potential to become permanent based on performance and organizational needs. In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting their mission by assisting with the processing of housing assistance applications and ensuring accurate financial and administrative records.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and processing housing assistance applications.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and data entry related to applicant information.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.
  • Verify documentation for completeness and compliance with program requirements.
  • Communicate with applicants to request additional information or clarification.
  • Collaborate with program and finance staff to ensure timely processing.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a mission-driven environment.
