Our client is seeking a Client Account Liaison to join their Honolulu team.

In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for customers regarding their account status. You'll provide timely responses to account inquires, perform research and help resolve issues on payments and charges.

This role does NOT involve collections and accounting in the traditional sense. Instead, you will be responsible for answering member questions about billing or fees.

Qualified candidates will have their associate's degree in business/accounting and possess basic knowledge of accounting principles.

$48,000 to $52,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Generate invoices and office statements for membership dues and other services
  • Generate monthly reports to identify members that may be subject to collection or suspension of their accounts.
  • Generate and mail past-due letters in accordance with subscription-based services and provide list of past-due accounts to appropriate department for suspension.
  • Accept and process customer payments
  • Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and prepare adjustment request, if necessary.
  • Maintain and update filing system for invoices/statements to facilitate research and respond to customer’s inquiries.
  • Conduct courtesy calls to customer to encourage payment as necessary.
  • Prepare refund requests for dues and other services.
  • Post daily online credit card payments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in business/accounting or equivalent of experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position desired. 
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret accounting information.
  • Ability to analyze accounting information to answer customer inquiries.
  • Ability to lift 20lbs.
