Project Architect (Remote)

A local design firm is seeking a Project Architect to lead project documentation, coordinate with consultants, and support project delivery from design through construction. This role serves as a key technical resource on project teams and works closely with Project Managers and Principals.

Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (flexible)

Location

Ala Moana, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$75,000 to $110,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and coordination of design and construction documents.
• Oversee development of drawings, details, specifications, and technical solutions.
• Coordinate with consultants, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project phases.
• Support construction administration, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
• Assist in resolving technical and design challenges.
• Mentor junior designers and support team development.
• Ensure quality control, accuracy, and adherence to project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in an architectural firm.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Solid understanding of building systems, codes, and construction documentation.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Licensure or progress toward licensure preferred.
