Civil Wastewater Engineer

Full-time opening for a licensed Civil (Wastewater) Engineer in Honolulu. Perform engineering calculations and design to transform concept designs into construction drawings and technical specifications.

Applicants must have a minimum of four years of related experience and proficiency with AutoCAD. This is a great opportunity to work with one of Hawaii's leading engineering firms!

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Kalihi, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$70,000 to $130,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Transform concept designs into construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensure project meets required state and federal regulations and standards.
• Regularly monitor project progress to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Provide written communication to clients, management, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide project-specific technical information to the team including Project Manager, Project Coordinator or Senior Engineer for incorporation into project specifications.
• Prepare basic civil and mechanical process drawings for submittal to various agencies.
• Utilize AutoCAD and various hydraulic software applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of engineering experience.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
