Tire/Lube Technician

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday (shift times vary between 7:00am-6:00pm)

Waimea, Big Island

Pay

$22 an hour

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, mount, and balance tires.
• Perform routine oil changes.
• Learn and perform battery services.
• Assist with unloading and stocking tire inventory.
• Operate shop equipment safely (training provided).
• Safely test drive customer and company vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support day-to-day shop operations as needed.
• Use computer systems for basic data entry and information retrieval.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to work in a shop environment with dust, odors, and fumes.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to comply with a pre-employment drug screen.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
