Construction Project Manager

Help to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have experience with budgeting, construction project management, and clear communication.

Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

• Waipahu, Oahu

Pay

$100,000 to $130,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Oversee project risk, purchasing, and subcontractor performance.
• Manage project schedules and quality while directing Superintendents and Project Engineers.
• Handle client and owner communications, updates, and project reporting.
• Review construction plans and provide guidance on design interpretation and construction methods.
• Maintain project budgets, monitor costs, and manage monthly owner billing.
• Administer project contracts, including subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Prepare and process monthly owner pay applications while reviewing subcontractor invoices and payment releases.
• Ensure all project activities align with contractual obligations and internal company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in construction, including Project Engineer experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience overseeing project budgets, costs, and contract administration.
• Strong understanding of construction practices with the ability to interpret plans and specifications.
• Proven ability to advance from field-based construction work into project management and leadership.
• PMP certification or comparable professional credential is preferred.
