We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Chief Engineer to lead our facilities maintenance operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing the management, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment. The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards. This position offers an opportunity to apply advanced engineering troubleshooting skills, manage diverse maintenance teams, and implement innovative solutions to optimize facility performance.

$150,000 to $175,000 a yearResponsibilities
- Leading and supervising engineering and maintenance staff.
- Managing preventive maintenance and building system reliability programs.
- Overseeing vendor contracts and service providers.
- Developing and managing operating and capital budgets.
- Planning and coordinating capital improvement projects.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and operational standards.
- Responding to building emergencies and critical system issues.
- Supporting tenant relations by ensuring timely resolution of building service concerns.
- Maintaining maintenance records, logs, and regulatory documentation.
- Assisting with asset preservation, sustainability initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of direct experience in the management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, office or retail buildings is preferred.
- Experience with basic painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
- Expected to be available to share on-call responsibilities and be available to work overtime hours, as needed.
