As a Placement Manager / Recruiter for ALTRES Staffing you will be responsible for matching jobseekers with the job openings of your clients. To do so you will successfully identify active and passive job seekers using sourcing tools, internet research and other creative methods. And build strong relationships and trust between you and your clients.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Create and post job ads via in-house ATS.
  • Source, screen and interview candidates.
  • Assess candidates’ relevant skills, experience, and aptitudes. Take time to understand their needs, ask questions for clarification and be respectful of other people’s communication.
  • Maintain accurate candidate notes as they move through the hiring process.
  • Talk to existing clients to receive job orders, review qualification criteria and salary and benefit information.
  • Talk to prospective clients to explain our services, fees and recruiting process and ensure receipt of signed client agreements.
  • Determine candidate match for jobs based on resume, skill assessments and interview notes. Present job opportunity to candidate and upon agreement, present candidates to clients for consideration.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidate and clients and conduct timely follow up to negotiate potential job offers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED).
  • 1-3 years' experience in a competitive sales environment.
  • Prior Staffing Industry experience preferred.
  • Applicant tracking system experience preferred.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Active listening skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate the services we provide.
  • Ability to thrive and cooperate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Solid negotiation skills to effectively manage expectations from clients and candidates
  • Exemplify values of integrity, team work, innovation, passion and respect.
