This position serves a pivotal role in supply chain planning and decision support. The Supply Chain Analyst produces complete, accurate and timely reports to Buyers that provide insight into supplier performance and trends. You will also help with identifying areas for improvement such as consolidating items bought from multiple vendors to one source.

Responsibilities

  • Identify buying efficiency opportunities.
  • Consolidate items from the same vendor being bought from different sources AND items bought from a redistributor that could be bought directly from the vendor.
  • Utilize Trackmax Insight reporting system, Power Enterprise data queries and MS Excel to run weekly and monthly reports for suppliers.
  • Identify areas of inconsistency in item descriptions and product category assignments.
  • Support leadership as needed for exclusive brand transitions.
  • Provide data support for various Supply Chain objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years of experience in a business analysis related field. Foodservice industry a plus.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications with strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
