Healthcare Coordinator (Marshallese speaking)

The Healthcare Coordinator handles many responsibilities including contacting various clinics (located in Hawaii and on the mainland) to set up annual exams, conducting patient follow up's by confirming appointments and related information, maintaining patient records and processing payments.

The qualified candidate will have previous medical or administrative work experience, strong communication and customer service skills, and are able to maintain and handle sensitive and confidential information. Also, fluency in Marshallese is highly desirable but not required.

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Location

Waipahu, Oahu

Pay

$15 to $20 an hour

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and relay messages.
• Assist with patient follow ups.
• Maintain patient records.
• Schedule medical appointments.
• Process payments for medical invoices from providers.
• Handle follow up paperwork (i.e., scan medical forms and exam results).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous medical or administrative work experience highly preferred.
• Marshallese language skills desired but not required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain and handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to travel and meet patients and visit medical facilities.
• Motivated, trustworthy, dependable.
