Assistant Store Manager

Local non-profit is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their team and help train, coach and supervise staff, record and receive delivery of merchandise, handle and resolve customer complaints, and ensure the team is achieving sales goals.

This is a full-time position and core work hours are between Monday to Sunday, 8:30 am-7:30 pm, including holidays. Staff may be scheduled up to 2 hours before store opening and up to 2 hours after store closing to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and supervise workers.
• Record/receive delivery of merchandise, compare against order record, report discrepancies.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints.
• Ensure team is achieving production and sales targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 year certificate from college or technical school, or 3-6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous management experience required but retail management highly preferred.
• Excellent mathematical abilities.
• Strong leadership and communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Possess valid driver's license.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 25lbs.
• Motivated, dependable, hardworking, trustworthy.
