Tech Trainer

Our client is seeking IT professionals to join their team as Tech Trainers. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering training programs, monitoring their effectiveness, and providing feedback.

The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree, minimum 3 years of training and customer service experience, and are passionate about teaching.

Hours

Full-time, 40 hours/week

Pay

$27 to $28 an hour

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person end-user and administrator training workshops.
• Help document training processes.
• Learn new materials and applications online through on-demand courses.
• Work with educational administrators and food service personnel.
• Cross-train and act as a back-up trainer as needed.
• Travel and conduct group presentations on Oahu and neighbor islands as needed
• Provide customer support as needed
• Assist with end-to-end solutions and customer work processes.
• Build and maintain training assets (i.e., presentations, videos, collateral, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of training and customer service experience.
• Prior training, field trainer/instructor, or instructional delivery experience preferred.
• Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) preferred.
• Proficiency in Office 365.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, motivated.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to various training locations.
• Ability to pass state/federal background check.
