Full-time opening in Waimea! This role will oversee a crew responsible for land surveying which includes using high-tech surveying equipment to measure and mark property boundaries, and calculating dimensions and elevations.

Full-time, 6:00am-5:00pmLocation
Waimea, Big IslandPay
$30 an hour, Company may offer more depending on experience.Responsibilities
- Clear area to be surveyed using various cutting equipment (chainsaw, machete, etc.).
- Carry surveying equipment and water in and out of each job site.
- Collect and download data.
- Create a computerized rough draft of map.
- Use surveying and AutoCAD software.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in civil engineering, land surveying, geology, or related geosciences.
- Experience with AutoCAD software, land surveying software and land surveying equipment preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work outdoors under various weather conditions, lift 60+ lbs. and navigate difficult terrain.
- Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Must complete a state/federal background check.
