A local construction contractor is seeking a full-time Cost Engineer to join their team and be responsible for estimating costs and forecasting risks for construction projects.

$65,000 to $75,000 a yearResponsibilities
- Perform cost estimates.
- Forecast and assess risks related to the construction project.
- Review proposed budgets and project schedules.
- Generate and present reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College degree in engineering or construction management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Analytical, detail oriented, and organized.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean traffic abstract.
- Availability to travel inter-island.
- Ability to pass a federal/state background check and pre-employment drug screen.
