Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team and assist with the day-to-day duties supporting the accounting department. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all accounts payable duties, performing data-entry of financial information and general clerical duties such as filing and scanning.
The qualified candidate will possess some accounting knowledge and can use a 10-key calculator by touch.

$21 to $23 an hourResponsibilities
- Handle all accounts payable duties.
- Coordinate collection/collation of fuel tickets.
- Process fuel receipts.
- Handle data-entry of financial information.
- Reconcile and resolve variances.
- File, scan, and copy documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have some accounting knowledge.
- Ability to use 10-key calculator by touch.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information and maintain confidentiality.
- Detail oriented, motivated, dependable.
