Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team and assist with the day-to-day duties supporting the accounting department. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all accounts payable duties, performing data-entry of financial information and general clerical duties such as filing and scanning.

The qualified candidate will possess some accounting knowledge and can use a 10-key calculator by touch.

  • Handle all accounts payable duties.
  • Coordinate collection/collation of fuel tickets.
  • Process fuel receipts.
  • Handle data-entry of financial information.
  • Reconcile and resolve variances.
  • File, scan, and copy documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Must have some accounting knowledge.
  • Ability to use 10-key calculator by touch.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Detail oriented, motivated, dependable.
