Technical Project Manager (Remote/Hybrid)

A local IT consulting company focused on large scale ERP solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as an IT Project Manager.

Responsibilities in this role include managing, planning, and scheduling IT-related projects, while ensuring the entire team is actively working toward established milestones.

Although the role offers hybrid remote days, employee must reside on Oahu to come into office at any given time if client meetings get scheduled for same day, etc.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager with understanding of software development and coding. A PMP certification is a plus!

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$40 to $45 an hour

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel.
• Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards, in reference, to scheduled projects.
• Assign and oversee daily tasks of technical personnel.
• Ensure entire team is actively working toward established milestones.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of previous project management experience managing developers and business analysts.
• Understanding of software development and coding.
• PMP certification desired, but not required.
• Possess strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal), leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams on a variety of projects.
