Growing accounting firm is looking for an office administrator to join their team. This position is critical to keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently.

They are seeking someone with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. Qualified candidates will also be organized, detail oriented, punctual and possess strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Company paid parking will be available.

Full-time, Monday to Friday

$18 to $20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Greet and interact with clients.
  • Answer, screen and transfer incoming phone calls. Take messages for staff as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and other arrangements.
  • Process tax returns for mailing, forms, and other related tax payments for clients.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, memos and emails.
  • Maintain digital and hard copy filing system.
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, staff, and company information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge in tax and accounting functions.
  • Knowledge in website management and social media.
  • A vehicle is not mandatory but helpful for trips to the post office and various errands.
