HVAC / Refrigeration Technician

Full-time opportunity in the marine and fishing Industry, this is an excellent opportunity to put your skills to work!

In this role you will be working independently to perform routine refrigeration maintenance and repairs throughout the marine fleet and cold storage facilities. The ideal candidate is someone who is proficient in troubleshooting and general repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay

$40 to $58 an hour

Responsibilities

• Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial AC systems, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, water makers, etc. on vessels and industrial buildings.
• Perform maintenance repair of freon based refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, survey, replacement, and modify as needed.
• Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format, and completed with required information.
• Keep management informed of safety, operator and equipment observations and concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of verified HVAC or refrigeration maintenance experience.
• Must be able to work in a cold storage environment for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Must have Universal EPA certification.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
