Dispatcher

A mechanical contractor in Kahului is looking for a full-time Dispatcher to provide office support for their service department. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for answering phones and taking orders, creating schedules, dispatching Technicians for maintenance, and processing orders for invoicing.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Pay

$18 to $24 an hour

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct calls to/or take messages for appropriate person/department.
• Gather customer information and create new customer account or create order.
• Create and schedule maintenance.
• Dispatch Technicians on their scheduled maintenance.
• Create incident requests for support representatives.
• Review and update order status, confirm completion, and forward to accounts receivable for invoicing.
• Check and inform customers of past dues if needed.
• Create daily time sheet reports and transfer to payroll department.
• Perform administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, filing, and collating.

Qualifications

• Two or four-year college degree preferred.
• Previous dispatching and/or construction experience beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google docs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High level of organizational skill.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize work.
