Construction General Laborers

A busy construction company is seeking to immediately hire General Laborers to join their team and assist on various job sites in Kihei and Wailea.

Ideal candidates will have previous construction experience and have basic understanding of construction principles and techniques.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm, (Saturday as needed)

Location

• Kihei, Maui
• Wailea, Maui

Pay

$22 to $30 an hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean job site by removing waste materials, debris, and discarded material.
• Implement dust control techniques to minimize airborne particles and maintain air quality. 
• Load, unload, identify, and distribute building materials. 
• Set up protective materials to safeguard areas from damage during construction activities.
• Implement safety measures on the job site and comply with all workplace safety policies and regulations.
• Ensure a safe job site and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience required.
• Must have reliable form of transportation to get to the job site.
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and techniques.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects up to 100lbs.
