We're immediately seeking an experience recruitment professional for a full-time HR Recruiter opening with a local business that's been leading the industry for over 75 years.

The HR Recruiter will identify, recruit, screen, and present qualified candidates for positions, collaborating with hiring managers throughout the process. The HR Recruiter will also research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent.

$27 to $30 an hour


  • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Oversee new hire onboarding.
  • Assist employees with HR issues or concerns.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing and completing weekly reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of HR experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
  • Experience with Union/Bargaining Unit(s) a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good communication and negotiation tactics.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
